Went a little old school installing this floating mantel for Tony. I wanted to the control that hand tools offer to ensure accuracy. This brace was given to me by my Grandfather more than 50 years ago; I know he was with me that day! The mantel was reclaimed from a 150 year old building in Brooklyn that was being remodeled for Macy’s.
